Hi,
if I want to install 2 x 3kw fan heaters in to a room on a Radial circuit with a 25metre span,
I would use:
2x 3kw heaters
2x 13 A fused isolator switches
1x junction box
1x 32A mcb
25 mtrs 4mm twin and earth.

would you agree?

Hi Dan. I'll shift this post the right area of the forum once I've granted you access.

Hi a 3 kW heater will pull about 13.4 amps so that is over you 13amp isolator switch also why would you need a junction box for this? I you should just go in the first isolator then out into the second isolator so no need for a junction box

OK, thanks for this, so I will use a min 15a rated isolator switch, not fused and, as there is a nice big roof access and the heaters will be fitted high (30cms from ceiling) at opposite ends of a room so I was going to use a junction box in the roof, running a 4mm cable to each isolator and on to each heater. What do you think? Many thanks for this
