Could anyone tell me how does one go about starting an electrical trade in england, is there a certain age u have to be. where is the first point of contact

Do you mean starting to study to become an electrician? If so take a trip down to your local college and enquire about City & Guilds 2330. Normally you wouldn't study this before the age of 16 but I suppose there wouldn't be any restriction as long as the college would accept you

im from ireland and have some experience working as an electrician in the navy but i am looking to take a career break and start an apprenticeship in england how long is the apprenticship and do u have to be with a company what would my first step be

southern ireland. ya ive done three years in college doing electronic engineering of which i have two repeat exams left to do. im looking to take abreak from the navy and get qualified in england. in ireland its a 4 year course but im not elligible to do the course here when u take a career break from the navy you must work abroad.
i just need to know where to start

What level are you at with the electronic engineering mate? You may be better off sticking with that if you're at say HNC/D level.
Things are tough in electrical land here just now, probably the same as over there, and are probably going to get tougher in the short term. With a high enough qualification level you may find that you already have a skillset which is in demand

its an ordinary degree level a 4th year would give me a full degree but thats not available to me until im promoted which would take at least 5 years to be honest i just want to start the trade in england get qualified and then come back to the navy with my papers
