Just looking for some advice. I'm self employed at the moment and have been subbing to a guy for last 6 months on £120 a day 8-16:30. Works pretty gd and working with a mate.
Only thing is waiting to get paid all the time.

Been offered a job on the books for a company on £12.96 an hour with time and a half after 40 hours l, with van etc.

Really don't know what to do. As gd working with a mate on some pretty gd jobs but waiting to be paid and having to pay fuel etc or go for the job on the books with guarantee pay with a van holidays an overtime etc.

If that includes sick and holiday pay its not bad, not ideal either!

Think you are stuck with the dilema where you are doing your own thing on one hand and you are getting a stable wage on the other

Take the stable wage ,and work for your mate on the side

Yeah it's a tough one. Go back to being told what to do but be on a stable wage with holidays etc or continue being self employed and hope he still has as much on in 6 months. It's a nice dilemma, don't get me wrong as I have work just a hard one.
