Hi all

My mate is having his council house reworked to current regs.

The bathroom has seven GU10 diwnlighters fitted, they are chrome with no earthing at all !!

With two of them in zone 1 above bath.

The council sparkles have stated they will fit new ones if he supplies.

What does he need exactly ? IP65 ?? 12v ???

The bathroom gets very steamy as well.

Thanks

Not ok for zone 0 :)

Strictly speaking zone 1 is OK with IPX4 BUT if IPX5 if exposed to water jets. So I would def. have a IPX5 over a shower (701.512.2)
