After 2330 Level 3

Hi,

I have had so many different answers ( including from my lecturers) that I dont know whos telling the truth!!

Basically, I am currently studying for my 2330 level 3 ( done level 2 ) and my 17th edition.

This will be done by May next year, and the plan was to find employment and subsequently do my NVQ Level 3 ( EAL or C&G, doesnt matter which).

I know the C & G's version ( 2356 ) ends 31st December, so I need to know what happens in May 2013 for me?

My college seems to think I can do the EAL NVQ 3 ( 1605 ) or the C&G NVQ 3(2357) and because I will already of had my Level 3 2330 I wont have to do all the knowledge/theory units, just the pratical on-site assesment parts?

This is driving me nuts, i just want to know what i have to do between may-dec NEXT year to get my JIB "Electrician" card.

Any help appreciated

Which college you in mate? Im in the same boat as you (and I live in Swansea too)

Thats what we were told as well, I've just finished 2330 level 2, and expected to go on to do level three, but the college (Bedford) no longer do 2330 level 3 and put us on 2356, which is the same as 2357 but with out the NVQ assesment. We have been told that we can switch to the full 2357 at any time, and even when we have finished the 2356 we can just do the assessments after, there was however some confusion to how long after.
