Hi Guys
Bit a help anyone involved in Air Con ? I have recently been doing a lot of work for a letting agency and they are constantly asking me about AC units I have fitted a couple of units before and borowed a pump etc but not got too involved, They keep asking me about re-gasing and checking for the summer, Any advice appreciated.:D

Did a lot of aircon work whilst working overseas. Not really much involved on the service side. Pretty much clean the filters under a tap and dry them off. Get a set of manometers and add new gas in until at correct pressure level, making sure your using the correct gas.

Depends what units your talking about.... Single room split units and wall bangers or Area systems?? The single room units are a doodle, the Area units being a little or a lot more involved!!!....

Single room mainly some have two from the main unit, So they do need topping up then ?

You won't know that, until you put the manometer on to check pressures... Most single room units will take an experienced guy about 30 to 40mins to check, clean the filters, and if required top up the gas...
