alarm battery

Hi all

can any one tell me how long a new alarm system with new battery fully charged will last
as i have just noticed i have left one off !!!!should i go back or wait till morning

should get 8 hours dep. on what size battery, how may PIRs etc worst scenario is the ext. siren will sound for 20min

easily done , had a brain laps once ,wellive had them lots of times i drove 40 miles back to a job couldnt remember putting the cover back on a CDU , thankfully i had did swear at my self for a while
