alarm fault fixed, mwc required?

I have fixed a fault on a alarm which was not allowing one magnet detector to operate, i fixed this (short circuit) do i need to complete a minor works certificate? I am current doing my NVQ and was wondering if i should provide one, as i only adjusted a wire from the alarm it self to a door (very low voltage) and not from the fused spur unit. (sorry if in wrong section)

In a word no,simple as that,minor works etc only apply to work on the mains electrical system imo.

No mate MNWs cert not needed,as Phil said MNWs only needed for alterations to LV installations
