alarm parts interchangable

Can someone advise me if wired alarm parts are normally interchangeable with other makes?

Customer has a accenta G6 panel but wants new keypad and PIR's as existing ones are looking a bit tatty. Never actually replaced alarm parts, only fitted complete systems so unsure if you can use different make parts then accenta.

For Grade 1, (domestic usually) PIRs, generally, can be interchangeable, as can door sensors. It can get complicated with Grade 2 alarms, as they may need resistors adding to the sensors.
Keypads are generally not interchangeable between makes.
For the Accenta, there are 2 types, LED or LCD.
Being as it is Honeywell, I'd go for their sensors too, easy to wire, and pet tolerant.
