Hi all,

I was wondering please if anyone could shed some light on how the electrics works for an all in one computer. For example a traditional desktop tower pc has it's own power supply unit and a plug into the wall, the monitor has the same and therefore two plugs into the wall are required.

However, with an all in one, both screen and computer hardware are powered by the same PSU.

Basically I'm looking at building a custom all in one solution and need to eliminate the need for two plugs off what is essentially one unit.

Any help given would be gratefully received.

Thank you
Steve

Hi

Yes that's exactly what I am after. I didn't even know these things existed!I've seen extension leads with 4 gang / 8 gang etc but not these. That should work perfect.

Thank you both for your help :)

Steve

Glad to be of help.

I thought an 'all in one computer' was called a laptop. :)
