Gonna make this short and sweet guys

3 phase supply into building each phase feeds a bank of 60 amp 1361 fuses. Each 1361 fuse feeds individual domestic property's, now on the eicr it asks for number and type of live conductors. My opinion is I would put 3 phase 4 wire, but another spark is disagreeing with me, because wer testing the single phase supply in the domestic property which is single phase so he thinks its 1 phase 2 wire

When noting the type of supply etc TNCS, TNS etc you also enter the nature of the supply 3ph...4wire etc because that is the question it asks, you testing and results and other info throughout you report will be clear that only single phase of this supply is been used .... you could always put it as a note.... that its a shared cutout.

i would record the details of the supply at the origin , which is 3ph / 4 wire.
just because its 230v downstream doesnt change the characteristics at source.
so youre right , colleague = plonker ;-)

The EICR and schedule of results will be for the DB in the Domestic property. So the supply you note on the EICR is for the Domestic DB not the building as a whole.

Sub main, just done one today, 3 phase incomer and split over 7 flats, switch fuse isolator for each flat in mains cupboard and tails straight to each board, top line on schedule of test results for when the consumer unit is not connected directly to main incomer

Its just been posted and il re-iterate from my earlier post ---CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SUPPLY AT THE ORIGIN...... it couldn't be much clearer... regardless if it a 3ph incomer with 2 phases unused its still noted for what it isregardless of what part of it your board is connected toand as ive already said although its not required you can always right a comment regarding that its a shared supply, or blanked of on 2 phases etc.
