Can anyone tell me what if any qualifications are required to be able to assess AM2 candidates?

These are the people that run the AM2, probably best to drop them a line and ask about specifics as AM2 is purely their baby even though they license other approved training providers.

At a minimum I'd imagine that they'd need an NVQ assessment qualification (City & Guilds 7317)
