Well i finished my AM2 this morning, and am seeing if anyone can tell me if i did ok or not? if a put a small description of what i did:
I finished my installation ontime and completed all looked ok no major mess ups, and got 34 marks out of 36 on testing of my rig:

safe isolation part 2: done all them ok apart from one, where i was asked to isolate the motor, and i turned the MCB off instead of the isolator on the starter all locked off ok but it wasn't really what they wanted so stuffed up there,

Fault finding: had 5 faults to find i think and found 4 of them couldn't find one on the motor circuit, (decription contactor will not energize? any ideas of the fault) found rest ok i believe.

Fault finding part 2: had 7 faults to find and found 6 correctly, did find the 7th but wrote down the wrong decription on the paper in a moment of walliness!!

on that breif decription how do you think i done? good or bad... cheers johnny

Sounds good

Did you remember the following?

Fit 16A fuses in isolator
Fit 3a in plug top. Double ends over in plug top
Labelled MI correctly.
Use crimp lugs on heater and light fitting earth
Use heat sleeving at light
Functional test all ok?
Conduit set within 250mm from top of trunking?
Connections all tight including banjos and glands
Can't see what was wrong with MCB isolation as long as you followed procedure. (Locate, switch off, label, lock off KEEP KEY, test tester, test motor 3 phase and earth, retest tester)

Most people seem to pass fault finding if they miss one fault.

AM2 test is a bit like a driving test.
The list goes on!!!
