Am2?

Hi, I'm currently an apprentice day release to college 2330 level 3. I'm working on my portfolio at the moment, and should finish college in the summer. Just wondering when am I likely to do my AM2 and will I need much more experience before I sit it after 3 years of being an apprentice? And after my AM2 is that me qualified?
There's so many different things I've heard about at which point I'm qualified and if I have to pay or wait or neither to do my AM2..
Any advice would be great.. Thanks

Qualified = 2330 lvl 2 + 3 plus NVQ Lvl 3 + AM2 = JIB CARD
