They made one big mistake, they left the crane inside!!

Very impressive though, just like the Japs after the tsunami.

Unfortunately, you can't believe anything that comes out of China as being the absolute truth!! This building may well have gone up in a record time, but 15 day's from start to welcoming guests is a pipe dream!! Think about it for just a few seconds even, and things just don't and can't add up. Just thinking about the services that a building of this size and type needs, would take a dam sight longer to position and install than 15 day's, and there's no quick fix around that!!

This is what tends to happen when buildings are built at any speed, which by the way is normal over here, perhaps not to the extent that befell this building mind!!! lol!!

Buildings over here, can look 15 to 20 years old in as little as 5 years.... Materials used will generally be of extremely low quality. Some high cost apartment developments and government buildings are begining to be built with much higher standards, that seem to be bucking the older trends, but it will be years before the older badly built/constructed buildings are demolished and replaced by these much higher standard based projects....

Anyway, ....i'll take this 15 day hotel, with a very large bag of salt!! lol!!!

Col your nor suggesting they are speaking with fork tongue ............................ be a bit embarrassing when a company ask them to build them a 3 bed semi and it takes a month lol

Here's a couple more pic's of the same incident!! lol!!

This happened in the same province of Hunan where this 15 day hotel went up..lol!! But if you look closer you can see this building is rather close to the river. The piles didn't go down deep enough for the ground conditions, so with the combination of heavy rains and the contractor excavating for an underground car-park area, the pressure on the opposite side of the building toppled the lot over!! God knows what the residents of the other buildings on the development must have been thinking?? ...lol!! The building that toppled and the one next to it were unoccupied at the time by the way, the one's opposite were!!!
