Hi all looking for a bit of help.

I am looing for a manufacturer of PIR/Ambient Sensors for outside use (IP56 min) that can do the following.

Scenario:

Sensor detect's over 200 lux turns power off to the light unit.
Sensor detect's under 200 lux, power is introduced to the light unit.
Sensor detect's a presence within the PIR paramiters the light unit is on 100%
Sensor detect's no presence within the PIR paramiters the light unit dims down to 30% on a 1 - 10v d.c. dimming unit on the light fitting.

Also customer would like to have it on a remote control system were he can override the sensor to have the units on full brightness sometimes.

Customers really dont ask for much do they :)

Why not fit a box standard external light pir that you can adjust the lux level then you could have a set 0-10vdc 3.5 volt output switching in to circuit after a set time the pir is not calling for light then get one of those keyfobs with a control box to switch on as an override

What outside lights are you using that can be dimmed?

So you're looking for;

Always on @ 30% if below 200lux
Detection from PIR lights go to 100%.
And override to 100% as well, odd request as they'll always go to 100% if activated, unless the customer doesn't trust the scheme will always work.

I've seen internal Fluorescents with 2 stage dimming when no PIR activation, but mounted on each fitting so when you walk down a warehouse the lights go full brighness in front of you, and start to dim down behind.
