Amending an mcs cert

E.on have just discovered that a job we registered back in December 2011 had the wrong meter serial number on the certificate.
Are we allowed to update the certificate to show the correct number?

I think as the installer you should be able to do that, unless MCS have disabled that for older certs in one of their portal updates.

I managed to change it but had to fill in installation price/notifications etc as per new certificate.

lol - go on then, what was the price?

Back in the day when it was possible to make decent money installing solar without ripping people off.

I read the other day that we are going to face massive fines for missing our energy targets. So why did they effectively kill this business. No doubt the rouges are still making a few quid.

Edit: The price? was very competitive at the time
