It's interesting as well that they've taken some of the esteem out of the manufacturers instructions and you no longer have to blindly follow then regardless of how ridiculous they may be.



'Electrical equipment shall be installed in accordance with the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the equipment.'

Has been changed to ;

'The installation of electrical equipment shall take account of manufacturers’ instructions.'

Quite impressive....wonder if they've started specifying a decent RA for a TT earthing arrangement in the latest ammendment .

in fairness manufacturer's instructions aren't the be all and end all, i actually helped to make them up for a heat pump one day, it is essentially covering your --- for every possibility

I moved out of the city to an area where cowboys reign....how someone can install this stuff and sleep at night really makes me think!,bare copper wires all over the place even a novice could tell you this place is rigged for disaster!

Well if equipment isn't installed as "the manufacturers instructions" is that a warranty get out for the manufacturer
