l am appearing on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square August and l want to play some music from the plinth loud enough for me to hear and for the people on the ground to hear and dance to and to contend not only with it being in the open air but also to contend with the traffic noise and any noise from the World Free Running Championships which are being held in the Square on the same day. BUT there is no power so l will have to rely on batteries or a generator to power the amplifier. l am no electrician and hardly a DIY expert so l wondered if anyone could help with advice. lt is important to me as l have Parkinson's disease and l want to make the hour l spend on the plinth work as the Parkinson's disease Society will be supporting me on the day. HELP!!
Please email me o [email protected] if you are able to help.

for simplicity use a cple of car batteries and a 12-240v invertor ..thee are many ways u could power an amp woithout a generator ..but this will prove to be the simplest/cheapest answer to ur problem i feel......

kool good luck with ur "art display" ........a most interesting / diverse endeavour .......i would how ever urge to to take many batteries as what u describe wil drain nattiers quickly if used at its maximum otput which tbf i feel ur going to have to do in order to compete with the noise levels in inner city london ....

again god luck have fun hope u enjpoy the experience
