hi all just aquickie, ive got a start with a new comany and they use amtech i personally have never used it and was wondering if ayone knows where i could download a trial version so i can work out the basics before they send me for training i just would like to go in at least knowing the basics of the software.
i watched the demo and that was way to fast but i couldnt see any trial version from their website to d/l help plz ....

also does any one know of any good youtube vids for megger mft ... i dont know the model number but just as many as poss would be good . thanks in advance

Not sure if a free trial exists. I googled it and there's loads of links, but it's up to you if you want to try downloading. It is a very easy to use software package, but very glitchy. (I used it during my apprenticeship), I'm sure you'll pick it up quickly if they're training you.

Assuming it's a new Megger 17XX series of tester, have a look on our website. There is a very basic animated video, which I'll put the link into below. But best bet is to ring your new company and ask what MFT's you'll be using. Then search on youtube for the tester? I bet they'll probably be impressed that you've asked.

Hi Bobby,

Amtech doesn’t currently have a downloadable demo version of there software. If you could get a copy of the disk from your company you could install it on your own PC using there licence number and it will work fully functioning for 30 days before it requires activation. This should be more than enough time to play around with it.
You said the demo was way to fast. What demo did you look at, FastTest, SingleCable or ProDesign? What bits of the demo do you think could be slowed down or explain better?
