Hiya everyone,

Came across the forums on various occasions, well pretty much every time I googled a question regarding electrics or qualifications really! Figured it was time I signed up as I am now training and gathering certification, and will no doubt need to fully immerse myself in it.

A little about me. I'm Jon, 27, living in Wolverhampton. Working in telecoms on cell sites doing a little transmission, some alarm work, but mostly backup DC power systems and AC/DC rectification for transmitting units.

I'm currently (within the next fortnight) completing my 2382 & 2392-10 qualifications and I'm mainly getting these qualifications to be able to do work on my own house, do the electrical side of houses my brother is buying to do up and sell, and as a backup trade should the fickle telecoms industry spit me out.

Any questions please let me know, if not I'm sure I'll get to conversing with many of you soon.

Thanks!

I'm working on the assumption that LABC relates to local authority building control? Never came across that acronym before so correct me if I'm wrong.

I could have been more thorough in my intro to be honest. 2382 & 2392-10 are the qualifications I will have over the next fortnight after months of working towards it, but I am going through Part P full scope and hope to be fully qualified by the end of next year.
