Another celeb passed away

After Eddie large, Bobby ball and Des O’Connor, another celeb “big” in the 70’s and 80’s has passed away.

David Prowse.... known to many as the man in the Darth Vader mask from the first three films, but also to some of us that were young ‘uns in the 70’s..... He was the original Green Cross Code man....

Back when child safety campaigns involved a costumed superhero telling you what was safe.... (Superman vs cigarettes?)
Much nicer than the ads that showed you what happened if you flew a kite too close to a pylon, or retrieved your football from a substation.

RIP David Prowse.
