Does anyone have any experience of these LED downlights ? The price at the wholesalers is right and they have a few good features that I like. Just wondered if I could get any feedback before trying them on my next job.

Orbio 360 Fire Rated Downlights

look ok. what's then price like? i assume they're integrated lamps.

I have been quoted around ÂŁ17.50 then a quid for a bezel of choice plus the dreaded. I like the look of the Click style connector for first fix and the flippy low profile option.

Yes they are integrated.

Hi Andy,

I have never fitted the integrated LED downlights. I just cant get my head around the fact that if the lamp does go then you have to replace the whole unit. I tend to buy a bulk standard fire rated downlight fitting (screwfix/toolstation) as all you see is the front round entrance hole so no matter how fancy the rest of it looks it's not going to be seen. I can understand the second fix is easier but it's not too much longer to get your screwdriver out for 5 minutes.

I'll then buy a quality LED lamp. This will come to perhaps ÂŁ15 for the downlight and lamp.

Do you prefer the integrated units?

They dont look too bad, i like the ansell range but never fitted this one only seen the titan ones. The titan are more powerful and give out more lumens

Yep installed a few the are very good nice beam angle good light output and the cable encloure will rotate so you can get the cable entry the same was as the spring does come in handy price you have is very good and they come with a 5 year warrenty i thing my only gripe is as with most down lighters is the cover for the connections is a bit weak ,

i used them when on offer in my retailers, good quality and easy to install especially as you can wire the plugs in on all of them, test and just plug the light fitting back in. They seem to hold in better than other down lights as well.

I fitted 8 of the Orbio 360s last week, paid exactly what Andy quoted and I think they're a decent fitting, the only criticism I would give is that the cable entries on the click style connector could have been designed better but that's a minor thing really.
