Is anyone else using anti slide devices for the bottom row of panels?

Today for the first time we have struggled to get the rail distances and anti slides to work together.

Headache - i used them on my first install and struggled to get the panels lined up properly for some reason - so i havent used them since. Once the panels are clamped there not going anywere.

When you say anti slides are these the bolt on plastic lugs that you can fit to the modules?
I have looked for other devices that will do the same job ie stop modules slipping off the rails, and the above was all we could find.

but in answer to your question I know our roof guy likes using these and when we've not had them he's been a bit grumpy as it makes lining up the modules more of a headache.

We are using the "L" shaped lugs that hang in the rail.

It means the bottom rail is only about 75mm from the bottom of the panel. I think there are some linger ones available now from what I have been told today when I rang our supplier.

Are anti slides a building reg? I thought it was but I may be wrong.

I've not seen those ,what make are they?
we have thought about getting some fabricated ,as I'm conscious of the long term safety of the fixings , I originally trained in engineering and know its difficult to stop bolts gradually untightening through vibration.

Ni lock nuts and spring washers are pretty good
