Any idea how I can accomplish this?

Hi guys, i've been asked to fit 12 strip lights into a room with a suspended ceiling, which is something i've never done before. Are there any types of clips/clamps to secure the fittings to the ceiling? I was going to suspend cable basket from the trapezoidal roof above to carry the cables, but the customer has asked that I don't penetrate the traezoidal roof if at all possible, is there a better way to do this?

You can get 'W' clips that click onto the suspended ceiling frame to fix the lights. If you cant fix to the main roof you could stretch catenary wires across above the ceiling and tie your cabling to that.

Theres only two ways about this, if the ceiling can take the weight fix to the ceiling, if it can't then you have to provide fixings from above the ceiling.

The ceiling can take it, but I just wasn't sure how to fix to the suspended ceiling. Truckster - I can't seem to find the mentioned 'w' clips? Will they know what I mean at CEF?

You can also screw into wooden battens sitting on the ceiling grid.
