Right Guys as you probably already know the staff and mentors are always thinking of ways to keep you all interested and entertained in here whether that is via competitions with prizes or sticky threads relating to your course work etc.
So I got thinking ( Do your worst with the jokes ) what would you guys like to see in here, what do you think is missing or not covered enough have you got any new ideas for the Trainee section.

This place is your own little space on the forum so I think it is only fair that you get a say in what happens in here.
So get your thinking caps on and let's hear your ideas.

I have a quick pop-quiz type question for the trainees;

A 400 kilogram baboon is frying a couple of dozen burgers for his breakfast on an electric flat top grill. Due to him being lethargic because he's overweight, he's sitting on a stainless steel table which is a couple of feet away from the grill whilst he's cooking. Every time he flips a burger with his stainless steel spatula he gets a strong tingling sensation up his arm.

He doesn't know the first thing about electricity so he calls you out to have a look for the fault.

Question 1; What's the minimum number of faults you're going to be looking for?

Discuss some of the possible fault scenarios.(please don't say static because of his fur ;))

Myself and Paul have been meaning to sort out some questions for a new comp, i have been flat out at the moment and not gotten around to anything yet unfortunately. i will try and make some time this coming week to think of some.

Nice 1 GMES. :)

Pmsl Marvo you wicked man.

Ok I've got one and this is calculation based

You have an extremely overweight Boxer dog that's been over doing it with the dog treats, now looking at the Picture of the said boxer, if you were to stick a pin in his under carriage 1- how high would he be projected into the atmosphere and 2- how long to the nearest 5 seconds would it be until he landed on the ground again.
See education with fun, where else could you get that.

Good Idea Tazz.

I thought we would have had a stampede of enthusiastic trainee Ideas by now!!

a sticky for am2 tips? and one for general working tips? the stuff you dont learn at college?
i think the fact you guys take the time to help us with our questions is more than enough anyways, nevermind the competitions and situation questions yous provide, thanks!
