sorry if its been done before, came across the video whilst flicking through the switched on magazine

All I can say is “Switched ON” is switched off when it comes reality. These things are pure snake oil.

I am being careful because V-Phase do keep an eye on us. But physics can’t be changed, 1KW in can only give 1KW out at best. Inefficiencies reduce the output.

That does help, it shows that the problem is almost certainly in the way it is connected and not a problem with the fittings.
