Quoting for 126 kw installation split between two buildings. Both have heavy equipment running in each building each fed via own supply from one meter position.
Do I meter solar independently and have two separate installations (two FIT accounts) or have one sub-main feeding both solar installations either by DC or AC cables distance between each building approximately 10 m. Decisions decisions

Thanks

Jason

If there is only one MPAN then you only have a single site so one PV installation for FiTs. The FiT tariff is the same in any case, whether you end up in the 50-100 kW band or the 100-150kW band - 10.71p with EPC until 1st July.

I would check for the presence of any large voltage fluctuations being caused by heavy machinery being powered on/off. Could cause issues with the inverter.

I am not trying to fiddle the FITs but more for ease of installation. Each sub main is located opposite ends of the building 30 m away from each. Buildings are 10 m apart

We have a system similar to this with two meters and the suppliers just asks for them to be added together, they don't want individual meter readings although customer keeps a record of them.. Ecotricity by the way and they were very good to deal with.
