Discuss Any work out there????? in the Australia area at ElectriciansForums.net

Not that I know of, got some bits in the pipe line, may have a fair wack of test & inspection work, but the money as to be good for me otherwise I won't be putting my tools back in my van.

The days of one band mans and small companies getting hold of enough work to keep other subbies in work are on there way out imo. That's why people on here can not help others.

Agencies are getting the contracts from the bigger outfits to supply labour and this also happens with local authorities etc. With the latter I think Government may have policies in place for on them to go through agencies to find temporary labour.

Don't forget also, Companies from European can also tender for any public funded works.

Don't forget every day I bet hundreds more become Part P, and do work for all their friends and mates, when you google for electricians in your local area you'll see there is nearly 1 for every few streets. The 4 week courses have nearly killed the domestic game off, only the mugs left signing up to be electricians now, swayed by the idea of making a fortune, won't be long before electricians and plumbers and driving instructors can't make a living, what am I saying its already happened.

The money was in the training, someone's made a fortune. Now someone has to pick up the pieces.
