Anybody got any cv templates

Hi ive recently just been made redundant as a jib electrician and am finding it hard to get work and wondered if any of you guys have a good cv letter i could possible have to adapt and change to my own qualifictaions im finding it really hard to get a good standard off cv by myself any tips would be greatfull a cv even better lol thanks all

Hi Mars,

Have you found something suitable. I am not sure if you can find a custom CV template for electrician jobs but there are a lot of free general ones avaliable on the web that can be customized to mmet your need. I have always found CVtips.com to be exteremely helpful. Totaljobs.com also has a great CV template section. I would recommend using their skill based template and customize it.

Let me know if you came across any other great site.

Hi, You might want to try a website called "linkedin". it's a kindof facebook for people in industry. You can build up your network of businesses or people and even search & apply for jobs. THe other good thing is that you can enter you career history & experience - a kind of CV template ! You can have ex colleagues put a recomendation on your page or you can recomend someone you've previously worked with. Worth a try - I have found it very useful in many ways.
