Doing two PV a week and have twelve confirmed orders. Also have fifteen solar thermal projects to do that got bumped due to Dec madness. We have over 400 installations since April 2010 so are well known locally which helps as about 90 percent of leads come from previous customers. Electrical and renewables.
Doing at least one survey a day from recomendations but very very few enquiries from other areas.

Do not panic , been electrician since jurassic times and January always quieter and current government stalling and court cases cannot help with public confidence.

Those of you who are proper electricians/ tradesmen will have other revenue streams to tide you over . Hopefully when things sort themselves out the conservatory companies and pushy sales lot will fxxk off out of our industry and return to selling houses, mobile phones and skateboards. We are hoping that at 21p PV is not worthwhile for the train jumpers !

Na, MCS Renew has all the work!! 3 of the jobs are due to planning requirements, offseting emmisions type of thing, the other is heavy electric user. Consumer confidence is at an all time low couple that with seasonal demand, might as well join the rest of you guys on the ski slopes or the beach.

I also hope the lull kills off the slimy sales folks and negates the renta roof crowd.

I have two 4kw jobs booked in for february at the moment, doing one or two quotes a week, pretty similar to this time last year, there werent 9,0000,000000,0000000 installers also chasing the work then then though!


BTW Does anyone know where I can get a solution for fixing brackets to SLATE ROOFS, it must be fully patented, its been keeping me awake at night???????? (sorry couldent resist)
