alright, long shot here, i bought myself a pipe bender off fleebay, but forgot to note that it was collection only (ffs) I can get a vanman to pick it up on a weekend and deliver it for £90quid. but if there was anyone local on ere fancied making a quick few quid picking it up so i can get a delivery agent to pick it up during the day
(which costs a tenner) that would be awesome.

For £90 won't the seller deliver it for you? I am sure it wouldn't be that expensive with parcel force?

its farmbourgh to carlisle, if the seller was in during the day i could get yodel to pick it up for a tenner but hes only abut evenings and weekends.

Well looking on Parcel Force it cost abut £50-£60 for something weighing 30kg which is roughly what a pipe vice weighs.

I ship electronic test gear from time to time, weighing 20 to 30kg,and have long given up on Parcel Force. Instead I use a courier booked via Transglobal Express, much cheaper. I shipped a 30kg package on Monday via DHL from Berkshire to Midlands, the shipping was about £25 incl VAT, plus I paid some extra for insurance. Prices are a lot less than if you booked DHL etc direct. You do have to be in during the day, e.g. a 4hr window in the case of DHL, or I think some options let you drop it off at a depot (not tried that). No affiliation, just a satisfied customer.

i got a quote on parcel to go for 15quid, he tells me its 20kg but tbh ive never weighed a pipe bender lol, the main problem is he wont be in during the day ;/
