Anyone got either of the above, are they worth the cash (I know DDM2 is no longer produced but can be had for circa £200 2nd hand)???

Also have seen Sparky BBK2 & BBK3, they look suspiciously like the Macrist models, I wonder if the gubbins inside are the same.....I know Sparky tools can be a bit crud but if they were making them for Macrist they may be a good deal........

Hi, I have the DDM2, I would highly rate it to last a lifetime and will go though anything with a good quality core bit. The only disadvantage is the weight, they are very heavy, but built like a tank. I would also like at with Milwaukee core drill as they are as good but lighter, not as robust though as they have a plastic case.
