£40.00 is a lot got a set of the metal screw ones cost about £25.00 thay have been good for years

Got three sets already and there getting rusty, nothing a bit of WD40 won't fix but with the winter here and the nights drawing in just want something thats quick and my hands won't freeze too

I wonder if you could hang them upside down from inside the van, so that your ladders are up against the roof, but from inside.
That would save a messy wet ladder from Mrs Smiths carpet !!
I think I am going to buy a set and try it. I have a RenaultTrafic and theres plenty of room to hang them from.
Does that make any sense at all ???

It does, unfortunately i've currently got a racked out BG connect and there is sod all room for hanging ladders especially a set of 4.5m double extension ladders Will have to upgrade the van to a transporter soon hopefully, have to see what Santa brings

Seem a good idea to me. I hate having to faff about with the ladder clamps when its dark and raining.
