HI all,

Bought a full PV kit from test-meter.co.uk and had a missing MC4 set of dies, anyone else had missing parts from them.

im a bit gutted as they said i should have checked contents and wont send me out any. i even bought off then with parts short and told them they could post them separate if they wanted and they did, like who checks all contents when items are delivered i ask you, it was a few weeks after buying it i realised but that's the only time i had reason to look for them as my first PV install was MC3 ends.

very disappointed for a bloody expensive bit of kit.

yep... same happened to me with my kewtech kt64... i bought a package deal and never got my "free" voltage indicator or my 10% per cent discount after i spoke to them directly. when i opened it up to check the contents the delivery guy already done a runner before i could even say something anyway.

But they are the cheapest around so i spose its not all that bad.

Only bought off them once and never had an issue. I've had all sorts of issues with delivery drivers though!

I don't see how if it took you a few weeks to notice the missing parts that they can do a lot for you? Personally I'd have checked the entire kit was there the day I got it, a delivery driver I doubt would wait for you to do that but a call the day after might have sorted it, a month or two later I doubt it.

tbh, i wouldn't have known if it was missing or not, at my first install i needed what was in it, then when i came to my next install some weeks, months later its only then i realised that i needed different dies and then checked the website, all the kit wasn't there when received anyway. from the e-mail i got blaming me straight away i new it wouldnt take long to get a negative reply. oh well i know to stay well clear now

p.s i spoke to them, didnt get my discount either

No problems with them fast delivery

You must check any goods you buy from any supplier

Megger some times do not supply the clear plastic tips on their MFT1720 leads this was due to the change over from the MFT1500's series and a new style small tips

Two orders from them
No problems
5% discount on both orders
Prompt Dispatch
Nothing Missing
Cheaper than most

Jamie ( ps do i get a freebee )

Hi all,

Sorry to hear that some of you have found goods to be missing from your orders. This is a very rare occurance but unfortunately it can happen from time to time. For us to deal with issues like this straight away and get a replacement sent off we actually put the following on the address label attached to the outside of the package: "All goods must be inspected and any damages, breakages or missing items must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery as in accordance with our terms and conditions"

In this instance we received an e-mail regarding the missing crimp dies over one and a half months after delivery was made. The response written was as follows:

"Please check to see if these are not within the kit (basically two pieces of metal). I’m afraid that for all missing goods we must be notified with 24 hours after receipt of the goods. This is also stated on the address label of the package sent."

We have not had any reply to this.

In terms of not receiving the 5% forum discount, please note that to apply this to any order you must to either of the following:
-Apply the forum discount code when checking out on the site and click "apply changes".
-Quote the forum voucher code when ordering over the phone.
The discount will not automatically get deducted if neither are carried out, nor can we deduct it retrospectively for products that have already been delivered.

We will generally try and be as fair as we can but we do also have to create certain terms to protect our company. Anyone is always welcome to contact us with any problems that you might have on 0113 248 9966.

Grand, to accommodate the forum discount that wasn't applied due to the above, I will arrange for the missing part to be sent to you free of charge ASAP if you could e-mail or PM me your delivery address.

Cheers
test-meter
