As per title, am looking for a pair of horizontally mounting shaver units. All the ones I can find from the usual manufacturers are vertical (as in, a double socket on it's side).

Cheer chap/esse/s.

Cheers for that, I'll have to ask Aurora about what exactly a '2 plate' version is as the document links make no mention of that option.

It's not a space issue, just me having had a dead brain moment when I fixed the back boxes a while ago!!! If I can swap the units rather than having to go chopping freshly plastered walls around then I will, even at a little bit of extra expense.

The internet is a strange place, I'd already searched Schneider via Voltimum and those hadn't been listed! But look perfect for the job, hope I can order some in at reasonable prices. :) Cheers bud.

Having just been in to one of my regular wholesalers, this unit isn't listed on the UK wholesale lists which apparently means that they're 'reserved sale' - ie, if you want 5,000 for a hotel refurb then you go direct. Oh well, was worth the try. Looks like the boy will be chopping walls out, he'll enjoy that, I'm sure.

Have you though about using a shaver light (light/shaver socket(s) combination)?

These units are needed to replace just that! Two of them, either side of a big mirror (as they have two toothbrushes, of course).

Sadly, this whole thread just goes into the 'school boy error' category of cock-ups. Do we ever learn? Hmm, sometimes!
