Anyone know of a solution to roomstat dillema?

Hi all,

Went to quote for wiring controls for a commercial heating setup today,heating engineers will be fitting 2 new zone valves and split the existing setup which was all 1 zone,the place is a bingo hall and cinema above,straightforward to get a cable to the downstairs but problem is getting a cable 80 mtrs up over/round over up again etc nightmare cable run and not really something the client wants,cant use a conventional rf roomstat as distance too far and also walls/concrete floor in basement where boilers are located,so anyone know of any products out there.be interested to see what crops up.

Can you wire the programmer a long way from the boiler so that it is closer to the point where you would need the wireless stat so that it could transmit that far.
It would probably mean the programmer for the cinema would be in the bingo hall so you would need to assess that but may be a simpler solution.
Obviously not knowing the cable run potential I may be talking rubbish.

Hi richard,your not talking rubbish,running the cable is probably not financially viable so didnt know if there is anything else out there that can remotely send a signal standard domsetic rf wouldnt work.walls too thick as concrete and the distance also too far.
