Hi

I'm using good-old schletter/schucco mounts for my systems at the moment but sometimes they don't go well with small flat tiles as the whole system looks like it's mounted quite high off the roof, particularly on a bungalow/garage where they can be seen at closer quarters. Does anyone know of a rail/mounting system that will allow the panels to sit a bit closer to the roof?

Thanks

K2 do a double adjustable hook which can be adjusted at both ends. You can reduce the height of the hook between the rafter and underneath the tile and also the exposed part of the hook where it meets the mounting rail.

Be careful with the double adjustable roof hook if you try and mount your rails too low - too much movement in the bracket (in high winds etc.) could result in the bottom of the r-bar putting stress on the tile below it.

Try Sikla, There a 41mmx31mm basically a unistrut we have used ity commercialy but, they have adapted this to work in a domestic environment, has good fixings too.
