Hi all.

I have a Solar Panel business (www.rainbowsolar.co.uk), but unfortunately it's just not paying. This is going to get get worse come August when tariff reduces to 16p. I'm going to have to move into electrical contracting to supplement this business. I'm NIC registered domestic installer, but trouble is, most of my experience came from fitting kitchens. While I'm OK with how to do wiring and testing, I wouldn't feel confident in rewiring a house for example, as I've no idea how to go about ripping up floor boards and chopping into walls - ie what condition customers would expect house left in etc.

Consequently, I'd like to get more experience before I take on such work on my own. I'm happy to work for a reasonable rate of pay, I'm reliable and learn quickly. For anyone who's a little busy and needs help for a few days here & there, I could be very useful. Obviously it's not normally feasible to look for an occasional worker. I still have the business, and am hoping for a few installs before August. However if I agree to work at a certain time, then I'll certainly honour that.

Cheers, Steve
