Anyone used Aurora's 'insulation covered' downlights yet?

I need some downlights for a job I'm on at the moment and wondered about these new Aurora insulation covered ones. Anyone used them yet? I can't quite believe they will get enough air ventilation, but apparently they are designed to be completely covered in thermal insulation and take a 50w GU10, aluminium reflector only.

Spoke to the guys at the elex show today and they stand by them and to be honest they do look pretty good. Just remember you have to buy the transformers to match ie the ones that can be placed under thermal insulation if you don't they will be plinking on and off with the thermal cut outs. Aurora now do them and there jell filled so they stay at a constant temperature and don't overheat they are red in colour and all the new downlights that can be put under thermal insulation have black bodies all the ones that can't be put under insulation have White bodies.

£15 trade and the trannies he said around £2-3 more than the standard ones I think .

Cheers Pennywise. I guess it's just old habits but I think I'll be a bit nervous the first time I use these!
