Apprenticeship In/Around Glasgow

My name is Jamie, I've just turned 19 and will be moving to Glasgow at the beginning of July.

I've wanted to be an electrician for as long as I can remember and, as I am a "hands on" type of guy, I feel an apprenticeship is the best way for me to become one. I'm hard working, sensible, honest and reliable. I have the required qualifications and a full UK driving licence, so am willing to travel up to 15 miles in/around Glasgow.

As I live on the Isle of Skye at the moment, I can't enquire anywhere and I'm struggling to find anything online. So if you/anyone you know might be looking to take on an apprentice, or would like to see my CV, please email me at [email protected] or private message me.

as I have posted previously there are very few apprenticeships being offered most have lowered their numbers and some have stopped altogether
google "Electricians Glasgow" you should get a fair few numbers from there

As for looking for apprenticeships in glasgow check eveningtimes Job section online the council had an advert a few weeks ago but I suspect they will have hundreds of school leavers recruited straight from schools Most councils around glasgow have apprentice schemes
try CEBS ( part of City Refrigeration) their office address is Crownpoint road Hugh Fulton Albert drive FES stirling but do jobs allover the place BBES balfour beaty engineering services dont know where they recruit from check their website WWW electrical if you want to get into house bashing Malcom Mcarthur kilsyth ( new housing) dont know if he takes on apprentices direct as most of the guys are selfemployed Jordan electrical Airdrie new Houses MCS coatbridge new housing McArthur bros Commercial
