got an arduino micro-controller a while back (sat on shelf about 3 years)
finally got around to playing with it.
set up the servo and uploaded the program and tinkered around with the speed and timing parameters.
(they are programmed primarily in the c language but you can use any programming language that outputs the compiled program in binary)

got an idea Im going to make a small robot to dip the tea bag in the cup just for kicks.
when i get it done i'll post a video of it:jester:

you could use it to make a dvla server or nas drive, it wont be high performace but you can do it

raspberry pi would be better suited for that
but yes only imagination limits what you can do with the little gems.

made a controller for my kitchen under-cabinet led lights. with 2 pir sensors, they slowly dim when no one is in, then jump to full brightness when you walk in
