Hello, I recently purchased a Arduino UNO R3 and they are great fun to wire things up and program to do things.

I'm working on making my own flight controller using one with GPS Autopilot and auto leveling for my drone I'm making.

Anyone else got an Arduino and made anything cool? Post pictures / tell stories :)

Simple clock that gets its time and date from a GPS Satelite.

I just ordered my Wifi adapter and a 230v 10A relay so I can make my own wireless heating programmer :)

Nest would cost around ÂŁ160, My own that will do the same will cost me around ÂŁ40

Parts get here tomorrow :)

Home automation is getting big I think its the way forward. Its a good start to make and programme your own kit.
All cars have body control modules . Offices have BMS to control heating and ventilation some houses have it too but I expect soon we will have a module where everything is remotely controlled (heating lighting and power) and wired back to a central box of tricks.
