Hi all

I have been doing installation and maintenance on heating systems for over 20years Hospitals unies and schools but now am stuck. Had a pressurization faulton a CWS easy high pressurization switch replaced it, job done or so I?. The servicemessage was flashing so looked up the manual to find no info so call Armstrong Tecnumber the manufacturer. They will give you the code if you do training and become an Armstrongmember at a cost which I would not like to alarm anybody with, or they could doit and a service for £200. I hope someone could save me and many more as wellas the clients i.e. (tax’s payers) the time and the costs of going to anothercourse and put the codes out. Hope you can help me and stop these companys putting a monopoly on these units.

If someone’s done the training and paid for it, why should they give you the code? I wouldn’t.

This is where company’s train unskilled persons to becomeservice engineers like the fire alarms, burglar alarms, BMS controls, CCTV&access controls. They will always have one or too exsparks that fill in whensome things goes wrong that’s not on the laptop but for the most part all ofthis has got a lot easier from when I started as long as you have the bloody codes.It’s like my car I have serviced my own from I was 18 which I still can BUT topass the MOT I have to pay someone to turn the service light off on the dash board,where will it stop.
