HI all,

Im installing 16 x 240w panels and a eversoler 4000tl,

so i have 3.8kw system, whats the maximum allowed i read somewhere 3.68

so what do i put on the FIT application and when notifying the DNO.??

thanks

Grand

It all depends on your Dno phone them up and discuss it with them I did this and we fit Sma 4000Tls all the time and I've never been asked to limit them to 16 A, just to change the frequency settings to G59
you just do an application before installation and you'll need the acceptance letter first ,WPD will at present accept them under G83 using G83 type tested inverters although I've been told this will change soon and they will require a G59 application in the new year 2nd March 2012
if you don't have time then you'll need to limit the inverter and notify afterwards

The ES4000 is G83 as you know, it capped at 16A - on G831/1 it asks for Amps under normal running conditions just put 16A - and on Fit Application put 3.68Kwp as TIC & DNC
