ASHP - similar rules as PV?

We have a customer who has had an ASHP installed and it appears to be performing worse than predicted. The firm is refusing to send the MCS certificate until the full bill is paid - something which cannot be done with solar PV.

I would have assumed that the rules are the same?

I agree. naughty boys. This will be one of many. The RHPP is only a short term loan and govt will take it of the RHI payments. Heat pumps have to run below 53 degrees for the SPF to meet 2.5 and insulation has to updated all this will be verified by green deal assessor to comply for RHI payments

The customer should report the installer to REAL REAL Consumer Code

The performance is average across the season so will be poor in summer and better in winter providing its commissioned correctly and user hasn't messed with it.

I agree the cert is part of the job so tell to hand it over or get sued !
