well, finally after a year of wrangling and arguments with the planners my mum and dad finally got their planning consent through for me to put 16 sanyo panels on their flat garage roof.
Now, all I need is, err, 16 sanyo HiT 250modules!! great timing!
anyone recommend a flat roof system (balasted) with a 20degree pitch?

Welcome to the world of ballasted systems, first bad news have you done the structural calcs as it will need a lot of ballast, second Dec 11th eeek, IBC do a nice system which we just used for Tesco - Knubix 20 deg but will need probably 40kg/m2 ballast min block size 8 panels x 4 rows (or other way round) getting hold of it will be difficult, click fit do a nice one adjustable in different heights 10,15,25 degrees I think but getting hold of one will be biggest problem.

Rexel do a nice system similar to Renusol a ballasted plastic tray from Solar world.

Andy, I have 6 renusole consols coming in from Krannich on the 25th, they are ordering them in so must be able to get stock, worth a call. It was cash up front though as they arent taking on any more credit, I have structural calcs from engineer you can have as a guide for loading on your roof.

Whiphil, your right about loading my engineer has told me that the consols must be filled to the brim with ballast, so thats a lot of weight.
