Looks like one of the battery store systems that we saw at the NEC using theire own name - did you get an idea of price?

Bearing in mind that to store all the output from PV system on a sunny day to use on a night and dull day it'll need quite a large storage battery.

SunBat springs to mind

I can't quite get how this works unless it's got a second G83 inverter running off the battery, which would seem to be a bit expensive, though maybe they're just using the equivalent of a microinverter to just trickle the stored power out over night.

I was thinking that it could technically be done quite simply by using the second channel on a dual MPPT inverter to transform the DC from the batteries without needing to pay for another inverter, but this would mean the power would get fed back through the generation meter. The alternative being to draw the power to charge the betteries from the circuit before the generation meter, but you'd be looking at 15-20% losses in the storage and inverter process before it got fed through the generation meter.

I reckon there probably is a good way of doing this, but I'm not sure how economic it's going to be.
