I am stuck at home baby sitting the missus younger sisters and i am very bored. So thought i would try to start a convo to keep me entertained. Anybody here listen to Radio one and whats your thoughts on the new breakfast show

Have to say I have gone off radio one.

I tend to listen to local radio now to keep an ear on the traffic reports

I hate DJs, get an ipod speaker and connect your iphone to it and listen to music, you won't have to listen to all the bull these so called DJs talk constantly all day, last time I listened to radio one some women DJ, I think it was zoey ball was on there and it was a terrible show

I use the ipod most of the day now. I find Scott Mills and Greg James the only good shows on it now. I like Absolute 80s too but struggle for signal alot of the time. I use the radio app on my phone so i dont get bored in lofts

tbh I dont do radio 1 its not what it used to be. I also tend to stick with what ever local radio station im near for the traffic too. i hate traffic jams so any heads up i can get in advance is always welcome

Cant make my mind up on grimmy on radio 1, I used to love the Chris Moyles breakfast show. I must admit I am a massive fan of the kiss breakfast show! But not everyone (possibly anyone) will agree

I listened to Chris Moyles from Day one of his breakfast show but I can't stand Nick Grimshaws camp manc voice! I've now converted Radio 2 breakfast show, does that mean I'm getting old?

There are certain things I like about Grimmy, but not as much as Moyles and comedy Dave...

I used to listen to the Moyles show when it was on in the afternoons (I was working as a sound engineer so spent a lot of time in the van going to gigs and installs) and loved it.

When I did my college course a while back I was in the car every morning listening to Moyles and remembered the way that the regulars always felt like they knew Moyles, Dave, Aled and co... It was like listening to a group of mates chatting, especially when it came to the in-jokes etc. It always takes 2 or more to do that (Scott Mills and Becky/Chris, Mark and Lard etc) Grimmy needs a side-kick...

XFM manc all the way, the djs are hilarious, they play alot of decent music the only downside is the irritating adverts.

I listened to Moylsey for years and he just got abit too much for me, i can feel the rage building up inside now im thinking about it lol. He just moans moans moans moans!

Grimmy was better when he wasn't on in the morning, i like the guy and he has decentish music taste, however any prime time radio 1 DJ just has to play the garbage they get told to!
