back board where meter is mounted

just had a look at sisters electrics in her new house and done a few odd jobs around the house, the board which the meter and cut out are attached to has got wood worm. and the earth block has come loose from it. obviously the meter and all other bits on the board are needed to be removed and a new board put back in, will there be a cost for doing this as its going to be YEDL that is to come and do it?

Depends on their attitude one could agrue their equipment their backboard more likley to be nothing to do with us attitude and will charge you. Best to contact them explain that back board is infected and stress the safety issue and they may do it for free.
